Darren Morgen
Assistant Central Kentucky Regional Director
Hello, I am Jeff Johnson and I am honored to serve as the Central Kentucky Regional Director for the Kentucky Equality Federation. My primary goal is to promote equality and justice in the Central Kentucky Region and increase the membership base.
I believe we should not only strive for equality and justice for everyone, we should demand and expect it. I am here for you if you have any questions, issues or if you want to become involved with the Kentucky Equality Federation.
Regardless of what part of our beautiful Commonwealth we reside, equality is our goal. We may come from different areas around the Bluegrass but we have some very innate similarities and we MUST stand together and support our brothers and sisters! If you are interested in learning more about the Kentucky Equality Federation please see the page links below.

NORTHERN KENTUCKY REGION:
Pending Confirmation from the Office of the President.
SOUTHERN KENTUCKY REGION:
Shannon L. McKinneyInterim Southern Kentucky Regional Director
Will Taylor
Southeastern Kentucky Regional Director
The Southern Kentucky Region consists of all Southern Kentucky Counties (pictured) and includes a "Special Southeastern Kentucky Operating Region." The Southeastern Kentucky Special Operating Region was created in August 2011 by order of the Office of the President but remains part of the overall Southern Kentucky Region. However, the Southeastern Kentucky Special Operating Region has its own Regional Director and support volunteers. The Southern Kentucky Region consists of all counties in Southern Kentucky, including Adair, Boyle, Casey, Clay, Clinton, Cumberland, Jackson, Laurel, Lincoln, McCreary, Owsley, Pulaski, Rockcastle, Russell, Wayne, and Whitley counties.
Bell, Harlan, Knott, Knox, Leslie, Letcher, and Perry counties were pulled out of the Southern Kentucky Region into a Southeastern Kentucky Special Operating Region by President Jordan Palmer on August 28, 2011 because of increased discrimination, violence, and school bullying in that area.
We believe in equality for all people in the Commonwealth. Kentucky Equality Federation believes all people are endowed with inalienable rights to life, liberty, property, and the pursuit of happiness and fulfillment free from oppression, discrimination, school bullying, and hate crimes regardless of gender identity, sexual orientation, race, creed, veteran status, political affiliation, or any other defining characteristic.
Besides promoting equality and fairness here in Kentucky, another one of our main goals is to help increase awareness here in Southern Kentucky about the Kentucky Equality Federation, and to help expand our volunteer base. We are always available to anybody. If you have any question about how you can become involved, have an issue or just want to initiate a friendly chat I am always up for conversation.
If you are interested in volunteering in the Southern Kentucky Region or the Southeastern Kentucky Special Operating Region, please contact us!
